JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, multi-axis) for EV component production

• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, and technical specifications

• Program and optimize CNC machines using G-code or CAM software

• Perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM

• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions

• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are in optimal condition

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and reduce cycle time

• Ensure all components meet strict quality and safety standards

• Train and mentor junior technicians and operators

• Maintain documentation of processes, setups, and quality checks

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field

• 5–10 years of experience in CNC machining, preferably in automotive or EV industry

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, etc.)

• Experience with multi-axis machining (3-axis, 5-axis preferred)

• Familiarity with EV components (battery trays, motor housings, aluminum castings, etc.)

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing practices

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with high-precision materials (aluminum alloys, composites)

• Knowledge of automation or robotic CNC systems

• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts (IoT-enabled machines, data monitoring)

• Leadership or supervisory experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Manufacturing/production environment

• May require shift work, overtime, or weekend support

• Exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial materials
