JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

System & Network Stability

• Ensure 7×24 production stability of the trading platform through real-time monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana), rapid incident response, and thorough root cause analysis (RCA).

• Optimize network performance, focusing on low latency and cross-region connectivity (China domestic & cross-border networks); design and implement CDN strategies for content acceleration.

• Execute standardized deployment, change, and maintenance procedures with full traceability.
  

Automation & Process Improvement

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable automated deployments.

• Manage cloud infrastructure and application configurations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Develop automation scripts (Python / Bash / Go) to streamline routine inspections, log analysis, and repetitive operational tasks.
  

Security Operations & High Availability

• Implement and maintain security measures including vulnerability management, IAM, and system hardening in compliance with industry standards.

• Design and manage backup and disaster recovery plans; conduct regular recovery drills to ensure business continuity.

• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through redundancy and failover strategies.
  

Performance Optimization & Cost Control

• Continuously tune system performance with strong emphasis on low-latency optimization for trading systems.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to balance performance and cost efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience in related roles.

• Age range preferred < 40years old (but open to see senior candidate)

• 3+ years of experience operating 7×24 high-availability production systems.

• Strong expertise in Linux administration, performance tuning, and security hardening.

• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN, and advanced network troubleshooting.

• Solid security operations experience including vulnerability scanning, incident response, and defensive measures.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Shell / Python).

• Hands-on experience with distributed logging systems (e.g. ELK).

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of CDN principles and optimization; experience with major cloud providers (Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud) and global network acceleration solutions.

• Strong sense of ownership, proactiveness, and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially during incidents.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to mentor junior engineers and work cross-functionally.

• Strategic mindset with continuous improvement and innovation in DevOps practices.

• Role based in KL office, and expected to travel to HK office frequently.

• Must know basic Mandarin and Cantonese.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with cloud security products on Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud.

• Relevant certifications (CISP, RHCE, CKA, MLPS / ISO-related).

• Experience in large-scale internet companies or high-security industries (finance, government).

• Experience with IPv6 deployment, cross-border network architecture, or multinational enterprise network operations.
