Job Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Prepare, wash, cut, and portion ingredients before cooking.
Cook and plate dishes while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations after use.
Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.
Store food properly and follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Follow instructions from the Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or Head Chef.
Perform other duties assigned by management when required.
Job Requirements
F&B or kitchen experience are encouraged to apply.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Good personal hygiene and awareness of food safety practices.
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
