JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, build, and maintain custom web-based applications using PHP and related technologies.
Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of applications.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end or mobile app developers.
Consistently report work progress and challenges to the team leader. Propose initiatives and implement solutions to enhance existing projects, improve workflows, and optimize performance.
Maintain high software quality standards within the team. Establish and enforce best practices and coding habits.
Engage in standby duty on a rotating weekly schedule, remaining accessible for support during non-business hours.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Apply new knowledge to enhance project development processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Science & Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in PHP web development.
Proficiency in PHP, MYSQL, and fundamental web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.).
Strong knowledge and practical experience with PHP MVC frameworks, especially Laravel.
Experience with code versioning control systems such as Git.
Strong passion for adhering to coding standards and maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Adequate knowledge of web security practices, including session management and protection against XSS attacks.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
